![]() I'm located off of Virginia Beach Blvd in TOWN CENTER I have Criminal Background clearance and I am CPR and First Aid Certification. Your child will receive plenty of one on one time with me. I provide care in a safe, loving and nurturing home. I am a Daycare Provider with over 20 years experience. It was an amazing transition between maternity leave and then them graduating to a "big-kid" daycare. If there are any more children in my future, they will only go to Pamela for their first 15 months. Diapers, formula, food, sheets.every thing is provided which made my life so much easier. She only takes 3 children at one time which I loved since each baby can receive quality care. She also has the Newton mattresses (the 100% breathable ones-look them up, they are amazing!) so I never had to worry about my newborn napping out of my sight! She is licensed which is very rare for small in-home daycares. Pamela is constantly providing individual care based on individual needs-such as ordering a specific kind of formula that I wanted, our type of pacis, and following our daughter's schedule. She goes above and beyond for all the kids and it shows in my daughter when I drop her off every day and see her smile. I needed a small quality-focused daycare and Pamela has made sure every need of my daughters has been met.and then some. I was not ready to send my 3 month old to a large daycare with a classroom of 12 babies. I was so nervous sending my newborn to daycare and I could not have found a better fit for my daughter. Bootcamp anyone? They also have pre-school programs and classrooms available.I feel extremely lucky to have found Pamela. The basketball court is large and they are plenty of group fitness classes, if that’s your think. The free weights and machines are open and don’t need to be signed up for to use. They have plenty of cardio machines, but you need to sign up for a 30 minute slot. The gym is upstairs and they have a track around the gym facilities. They also have a big waterslide, which seems to be a hit with kids. It’s a nice little workout for those who have bad joints/knees/hips/etc. The aqua track is small curvy/circular track where the water pushes against you for resistance. When the pool schedule lists exercise or limited space for open swim that aqua track is open for those who want to use it to exerise. But there are still 3 swim laps for adults and an aqua track, which I love. They have an outdoor splash park and a playground of sorts inside too. Williams Farm Rec Center is a much needed addition to this part of Va Beach. Princes are subsidized for citizens and should be considered over alternative privates gyms that are much more costly. The Virginia Beach Rec Centers are a treasure for our community. Other than that I would choose the most convenient rec center unless the unique items I highlighted set this apart. I would recommend this center if the location works for you. Since it is almost new you expect it to be nice and indeed it has been well maintained these past few years and I applaud the staff at this location for upholding the beauty and integrity. This would be a MAJOR cost to fix the cosmetics and I don’t expect they will unless it becomes necessary. A negative is the young pool has a whole lot of cracking that has developed in a short time. A benefit to this pool is it’s handicap accessibility by wheel chair that can be easily pushed in. There are only two lanes for lap swimming. So smaller space in key areas is something to keep in mind. ![]() I do not recall an activity room with games here, but it is possible I missed. They have do have a smaller footprint than the three larger ones of Bayside, Great Neck and Princess Anne. All the other things you would expect like basketball, meeting rooms etc. An extremely nice family benefit are the single room changing areas, some with shower and some without. They upstairs gym has a track, not to mention a ton of free weights. In their aquatics they offer a water slide, outdoor play area and even a rock climbing wall. Another is the awesome skate park, no additional charge. The big one is location, it’s close to the Norfolk line and pulls in residents from our sister city. Let me touch on them since many are already familiar with the Virginia Beach Rec Centers. ![]() This center offers some unique extras that most do not. Williams Farm Rec is going into their third year and second to newest one in the system to Bow Creek. It appears my time here will pick up and that is fine by me. ![]() I have reviewed most of the rec centers in Virginia Beach since I am at them regularly.
